Psylocke - Inked

Welcome back,

    The response on the Psylocke piece has been overwhelming. It's numbers surpassed many of even my best older works. That's surprising since it hasn't even been colored yet. Rest assured the Hi-Res has been sent to my colorist (James Anderson) and he seems positive about it. So, hopefully that means he will make it a priority so we can all see what he can do with it.

Photoshop Work - Bettie Page

Welcome back,

    If you follow my work, last year you would have seen a project I did for a photoshop class I took. It was to learn layers, and help understand how and why things work together when putting a PS file together. I chose several things to do, and one of them was the FABULOUS Bettie Page.

During class I didn't have time to record where I got the image, or who drew her, but I loved it, and was able to put together a fairly descent attempt at a 1280 x 1024 wallpaper out of it. So, due to it's popularity, I thought I would showcase it, and possibly revisit it in my artwork someday. Keep checking in, and thanks for liking, sharing and commenting on my work, it really helps get my work out to a larger audience base.

The Mighty Titan: Turning a Dream Into Reality!

Hi again,

    last year I posted about a project I heard about on twitter called "The Mighty Titan" (a hero with cancer). It's creator, Joe Martino (Cancer Survivor Himself) was starting a KickStarter to help get his project off the ground. When time got close (and when Joe was sweating whether he would reach his goal), I contacted him and told him "We got this, I will help and we will get this done."

Since that call, we pushed to get his creation as much west coast press as possible, especcially in the AZ, CA, NV, UT Areas. His KickStarter was a success, (326% past his goal) and he was able to put a creative team together to make it happen and put some cash in the hands of some very creative people.

I applaud him for getting off his ass and making his dream come true. We need more people like Joe in every industry, not just comics, and I am proud to have helped him get his project off the drawing board and onto store shelves. Psylocke - Final Pencils

Welcome back,

     The weekends Psylocke Pic seemed like it went over well, so I pushed hard and cranked out the final edits today. I talked to James Anderson (my colorist) and he seemed to like it as well. We are hoping to be putting some new colors down soon, especially this one some original works as well. Until then, take a look, and let me know what you think about these final pencils. I will be laying down the inks tomorrow.

The World Needs Ninjas...

Welcome back,

    I always enjoyed the visuals of ninjas in comics and cartoons as a kid. There was everything from Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow from the G.I. Joe genre, to more progressive neo-Shogun look of TMNT's Shredder. And let us not forget Marvels neo militant ninja/Spider-Man inspired Deadpool.

You can find Ninja type characters in almost every comic company out there. So inevitably as an artist you turn to such a genre for inspiration, or just some fun doodle time. Below is one of my versions of a character I made years ago I call "Orion", but as usual, I am unsure if it will ever go anywhere.
